Progressive 480P DVD’s look Excellent. DirectTV Satalite feed looks great. My VHF/UHF roof antenna even looks decent. Supports sony memory stick and MPEG1 video. Plenty of inputs. The supplied owners manual has limited detail on how to optimize the DRC and other picture quality features. Has lamp that my need replacing after a few years or 8000hours for $250. Sometimes but not always, 4:3 picture does not appear perfectly square within the widescreen, sometimes looks to be rotated coutner clockwaise very slightly but hardly noticable.

I think this set is great and has a few more features and pixels then the previous KF-50XBR800 model. I don’t have an HDTV tuner yet so no review of HDTV.
