Sony Further Expands Retail Reach Making Aibo® Entertainment Robot Available At Good Guys


AIBO Now Offered at Retail Locations Nationwide and Online.
Entertainment Robot America (ERA), a division of Sony Electronics Inc., and Good Guys (Nasdaq:GGUY), today announced that ERA has further expand its retail distribution by selling the brand new futuristic AIBO 220 [ERS-220], and the silver AIBO 2nd Generation Entertainment Robot at select West Coast Good Guys locations and online at

The AIBO 220 is now available at select Good Guys stores including California (18), Washington, Nevada and Oregon.Available software packages offered at Good Guys retail outlets include AIBO Life 2, software that allows consumers to raise AIBO from an infant to an adult, AIBO Explorer, software that transforms AIBO into a fully mature robot, a lithium ion battery pack, and an Energy Station for dual battery charging and LCD energy level read-outs.

In addition, ERA also announced that is also carry the silver AIBO 2nd Generation and select AIBOware software and accessories.
