Yes and no! If you recall I bought an almost brand new 2000ES a while back. As luck would have it I found a 2000ES AEP Black model on European e-bay that was being sold for parts. I imported that unit took it part using the service manual, cleaned and spit shined it and replaced the broken parts and then transplanted my American 2000ES into it. Every knob, screw, light, etc. has been transferred and it works like a charm. You are perhaps looking at the only DTC-2000ES/B w/ a complete 120V power supply and circuitry. In all of my research all indications were that the black version was exclusively a 240V offering.

Sonyeslover,

I actually have the rose wood panels that came with the black broken down unit. They are in pretty good shape too... But as none of my other components sport the rosewood I have them left out!
