Hey, I actually somehow managed to

Hey,
I actually somehow managed to find another SA-WX700 here in Australia, only a 15 minute drive away. So I have both setup now and they sound absolutely fantastic. I sold off the SA-W3000 as it was nowhere as good and struggled to keep up with the 700s.

I'm impressed with just how ac...

Excellent! I'm very interested in

Excellent! I'm very interested in the pricing and performance of these speakers.

One worrying thing I've noticed is the maximum power handling capabilities. The massive NA2ES tower and NA8ES centre can only handle 100 watts maximum and the NA5ES bookshelf a mere 70 maxi...

So I've set them up

So I've set them up next to my PC now:

First impressions are very good - they sound a lot more neutral and detailed than the SS-CG1s and the bass is leaner but it also goes lower if that make sense. The CG1s wer...

Thanks a lot for the info, much appreciated!

That's really high for the crossover, where do you think the speakers start rolling off roughly?

Sounds like speaker ins/outs are the way to go, I've always used RCA line in for my subs so I'll have to give this a try.

<font s...

Sure. They are Auralex Propads.

Sure. They are Auralex Propads. I replaced my old mopads with them as they look and function a lot better.

They are composed of 3 layers, from botto...

Thanks a lot for the

Thanks a lot for the link, it looks like your -3db point is at 80hz when set to large and about 90hz when set to small. But both settings seem to result in a big 3db decline when going up to 200hz so it makes sense to have your subwoofer crossover up there.

EDIT: I could be reading it wro...
