I agree, movie mode is the best option. It's darker but you can always adjust the brightness.

Also, i don't know about the dish network because I currently have directv. What dish network reciever do you have?



I have had no problems with my picture with directv so far.



Also, some problems could be due to signal strength. But not normally.
