I have a DA5ES Receiver and just purchased a Denon 2900 DVD/SACD player and connected all of the anolog inputs, as well as an optical digital input for the home theatre stuff.
My questions is this: when listening to a CD or SACD there does not seem to be a lot of base coming out of the subwoofer. If I change the input on a regular CD to the digital optical input I get lots of subwoofer--also much louder for a given volume setting.
Also, I can not adjust the base/treble/midrange settings while the input is coming from the analog multi channel.
