I've got a Sony 34xbr800 television that I am interested in having professionally calibrated. I believe that the warranty covers such a calibration. My question is: How can I arrange to get this done? I'm not sure who I should call. Would it be Sony directly, or the place where I bought the TV?
Professional calibration is only accomplished by using someone who is ISF trained. Therefore, go to http://www.imagingscience.com/ and find a person near you. A typical direct view tv can run about 200 bucks and up. Also, I completely doubt that and moron at circuit city or bestbuy or wherever would have a clue about what a professional calibration is or what it can transform your tv in. good luck.
