I bought a new DRC Wega 34in (model: KV-EX34) in Korea for about $1,650. The way things run here (there are lot of knock offs etc) I'm not sure if I got a good deal or not. I have not seen this model listed anywhere in N.A or in Europe. I guess it was specifically marketed for Asia.
If anyone could send me info on this model ie. reviews, specs and how they compared to similar products in the market, I will be grateful.
Also I was told this unit could receive HDTV signal with the use of set top box should I choose to do so. Is this true?

I have this tv too, and was wanting to know does everyones tv picture look curved top and bottom ,very noticable in widescreen, when in 4:3 you can notice it also when a straight line is on the tv or writing its curved
is there a way of fixing this, i have played around with the service menu, with no luck, i need a service manual to help ( does anyone know where i can get one )
can a tv repair person fix this problem or is it stuffed

There are several KV-EX34 models listed on the Sony Asia Pacific support site, and I saw one targeted for the GB market. Click here to download one of these manuals.

The manual gives no indication that it accepts a progressive signal.
