    Should or can we upgrade firmware for these units?

    If yes
    a) how do we check the current version
    b) how do we upgrade?
    c) what bug fixes are in the upgrade?

    found this in a old thread for a DAV-S880, but I think it's the same for the series...

    "Check with no CD/DVD inserted by pressing: STOP + DISPLAY + TURNING VOLUME KNOB TO THE RIGHT.

    Then you will be in the engineering menu."
