Would like to get some feedback from someone who has purchased this camera and had time to play with it... I know it just came out earlier this month in the states. I have purchased the camera and awaiting its arrival. Any input is appreciated.

    Thanks, Brian

Me too - I am looking at this camera and would love to hear about the pop up flash and how well it works.

Looking forward to a 1GB memory stick.

Craig-nike... I just got my camera yesterday and am very impressed after only working with it minimally.

The camera is incredable, I've had it for close to a month now and it's lots of fun. I haven't even started playing with all the possibilites in daylight. the 2 different night shots are quiet impressive. either the typical night vision type picture sort of greenish tone otherwise you can take a full color picture in complete darkness I've tried it and it works great. definatly worth the money if you have it to spend.

Thanks guys - I have one now also and it is great. Too many functions for me

But the position of the flash is a pain, it is the perfect place for your finger to hold the camera.

I am also cranky that you cant turn off the "FINE" setting when you use the little green camera icon to take normal photos. FINE setting at 5MP equlas 2MB file size !

hi everyone, this is my first post. i just bought one yesterday and i love what ive seen so far. i had a cybershot dsc-50 and the main thing we didnt like about it was it took poor pictures in low light. that was our #1 priority and the first thing we did was to turn the lights off in the house and took a photo of our baby in the darkest room we could find. the photo turned out great. the few daylight photos we took today came out great also. im looking forward to keeping this camera for a long time.

on a side note, we bought this as an used item off the shelf @ Comp USA for only $380.00 + tax and all the accessories and box contents were included. it looks and operates perfectly and with the $50 2 year comp usa warranty we bought with it (discounted from $79) we feel pretty happy about everything.
