Can anyone please recommend a decent DVD player for my 36xbr800. I currently use an X-box with component cables. I am upgrading to Cox digital cable and High Definition service this week and am looking for a player.

    Thanks

What's your price range, do you need DVD-A and/or SACD playback, and have you heard of the "chroma bug"?

I am not looking for anything too fancy, something under $200.00 I do not need sacd. Something with progressive scan and no "chroma bug".

If you don't want chroma buy, get any Panasonic. All of their models are pretty decent, and some start from under $100.

Thanks for the input, I just bought the:

Panasonic Progressive-Scan Multiformat DVD Player with DVD-RAM and DVD-R Playback
    Model: DVD-S35S

It's not too fancy, and was under $100.
