ok so i recently bought a kv 32 fx66 u tv and on dvds a little bit of dotcrawl is noticable ... does anyone know how to lower the proccesing level of the 100 hz as i have read reveiws that there are 3 proceesing levels on other dony tvs notably the previous model sony kv 32 fx65 ??? any ideas ?? anything :S
The Sony tv's with DRC (mostly FQ range in the UK) have three differnt digital processing levals.
NORMAL - which is 50hz and no digital picture enhancement.
DRC50 - which is 50hz and doubles the amount of verticle and horizontal lines that make up you picture.
DRC100 - Which doubles the horizontal and verticle lines and is 100hz.
Knocking the setting down on dvd's can improve digital interferance.
Unfortuently the 32fx range are not DRC tv's so they only have the one constant advanced digital 100hz option so this will not help you. But it will explain what you have heard about three different settings.
Try turning any AI of and any Shrpness settings down.
