To adjust red push on a 36hs500 would it be the same as the 32hv600 as I found another post on the 32hv600? or could someone explain it for the 36hs500.
Also I ordered the avia disk and am waiting for it to arrive, so do you make all the adjustments with avia disc first then do the red push or vice versa.
Any other tweaks to the 36hs500 would also be appreciated.

Yes, it's the same. Use that Avia disc and see this thread:
XBR/HS/HV red push fix
The set in the thread is the 40XBR but should get you in the ballpark with your HS500. They are all set up the same but may differ slightly with each set and the different gear each of us use (DVD player, STB, etc...)
