Do I want to change the values(Red Push)on my set? What does this do for picture quality. Jeff Lam gave me the advice and how to do it. Was curious if this is normal for XBR's. Also, where exactly in the service menu is the "Red Push" located and if I change it can it be changed back?

If you have the procedure for going into the service menu, and feel confident with respect to performing that operation, then by all means go for it.
Red Push is an anomaly that affects the majority of Sony monitors, however in the past, this situation was rectified by tuning the down the color/tint on the user adjustable menu.
Not sure where the "Red Push" is located for your 40XBR800, but yes, if you do not like the results, you can change it back.
