    I am trying to get my Sony remote RM-Y168 to control my devices but they are not listed in the book. I have a Bell ExpressVu Satellite (Canadian) which is the same as Echostar. It is a 3100 series receiver. Also I have a Koss DVD model number KD260-2. I have tried all the Satellite reciver codes and all the DVD codes but no success.

    Hello,
    Since there are no codes listed, and the remote can not learn then there is nothing you can do. You'll need to get a learning remote.
