I have a serious problem with reading any CDs and DVDs in my Sony DVP-S525D. I was told it was because of demaged optical pickup laser. I think a model DVP-s725d is almost identical so can any one e-mail me a page from service manual which says anything about the laser lenses. Many thanks, Adam at clicking here)

Does anyone know the size of the "Video Buffering Verifyer" on thie DVD Players Decoder as I really need to know?

Maybe Philips could see if it's in his manual please.

Also, any idea how you turn off DNR please?

    Thank you

    Hello Philipz,

I was wondering if you would be kind enough to scan for me please the factory or "default settings" from your service manual for dvd single layer, dvd dual layer, cd and sacd? These settings are used in the the "diagnostic setup or service menu" of the 725d.

    my e-mail is clicking here)

    RapidRogue,

If you look a little closer, you'll notice they're looking for the service manual, not the user manual...

Also, would it be possible for you to choose a different avatar image? The face in the one you're using right now is actually mine and the only reason it was available publicly is because Claudio (the forum moderator) hasn't gotten around to putting together a system for handling personal avatars and instead put mine with the rest of 'em.

    /Tiny Face
