    Hello again!
It has been a few tears!

I have a fresh, well kinda fresh issue with my XBR.  When I push the power button I hear it click on then it goes off and the red light blinks three times.

I can sit there and repeat it over and over for about five minutes and eventually it will power on. That is getting to be longer and longer...

    Thanks all

Unfortunately, you are not seeing and error code unless it repeats as in n blinks, pause, n blinks, etc.

    I see...
    Thank you for responding

I am finding these larger TVs are pretty cheap these days as everyone is going flat, so I thinking I may trash it and go from there. It has been an OK TV

I replaced my functioning KV-36XBR450 with a KDL-55XBR8 three years ago.  Before I did so, I had both sets in operation so that I could A/B them.  There was absolutely no comparison.  The LCD looked phenomenal compared to the old set.
