Any rich Sony audio colllectors out there? And in case anyone else is interested, I saw this on Audiogon. The fabulous CDP-R10/DAS-R10 combo. The seller is asking $16k for the pair. WAAAAY out of my league. Oh well. As Bogey said, "The stuff dreams are made of"._mykl

Mark is right about approaching this sale of the Sony CDP R10/DAS R10 Reference Digital separates with great caution because only 100 sets were produced back in 1993. Although they retained Sony's original bidirectional
    Twin Link
clock system it was in the form of an "S" upgraded version.

Fortunately for those of us who can not obtain this kind of innovative but extremely rare and expensive Digital front end, but still want the benefits of Sony's Twin Link Clock system which allows the DAC to control the timing of the Digital bitstream from the Transport there are dozens of manufacturers today making inexpensive Asynchronous USB-S/PDIF converters that offer the same kind of 'DAC Master' control that Sony pioneered over 20 years ago.
