I have a Sony KDF-e55a20 television.I was watching tv last night and dozed off on the couch, when I woke up the tv was off with a red light that blinks 6 times. I unplugged the tv and waited until this morning to plug back in. When I tried to power the TV up again the green light blinked maybe 4 times then I got the 6 blinking red lights right after that. I replaced the bulb less than a year ago.I was reading on here that it can be a thermal fuse or possibly a board. How can I pinpoint which one it could be,and where can I get the parts and instructions on how to replace either of them.Any help is greatly appreciated......

This forum helped me alot in the past when I had to replace my bulb for this same TV. I was just wondering if someone can please guide me in the right direction on where to get the Thermal fuse and maybe some kind of instructions on how to install it.Thanks to all for whatever support you can give.

I suggest that you go to the "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Troubleshooting Information Packages" thread for how to obtain the "No power RED Standby LED flashes 6 times/KDF55XS955, KDF60XS955, KDFE55A20, KDFE60A20" information package.

I read everything in that forum like you suggested. It seems to me that it might be the thermal fuse.If I am wrong please let me know.If not can you please tell me where I can purchase the thermal fuse and instruction manual to service my TV. Thanks...
