Hello, this sony (klv-s26a12u) blinks (red) four times (once) then fives thereafter, which acording to the service manual is panel error for the four blinks and dc alret protection error for the five blinks. So i assumed a replacment power board would sort this out but nope.
any ideas?

Back to this after a break. the service manual gives the 5 blink error as a dc alert protection error, now because i like to listern to music as i work i didn't hear the relay click off, so i assumed the power board was faulty because no power was coming out. however before the relay clicks there is power coming from the board, so something that is connected is faulty which is causing the power board to shut down.
the 4 blinks is the inverter board but even with that replaced it is still not working.
Any help would be welcome
