Hello All AGer's,  Sony informs me the only issue w/ my malfunctioning TC-WA9ES is the belts. Problem is, one or more of the belts are "on back order". I found partstore.com, who have two belts listed for the deck, one in stock, 1 available as a special order. Anyone know of any alternate sources for factory or OEM replica belts? It would be a shame to scrap a $600 deck over a belt. Any leads appreciated,    AD

I recommend mars communications. He usually has belts on eBay.

mhedges, Thanks for taking the time to reply. I will check it out. It seems unfathomable that this belt is "On Back Order" (which I am afraid is the first step on the road to "unavailable"). This belt fits SO many models, it is not like the belts for a niche product such as my WM-D6C. One thing this has done is made me research the drive belt part numbers for all of my Sony belt driven decks, and seek multiple sets of replacements so I don't encounter this again. I will check your recommendation out, thank you again. Take Care, ADey

A Vancouver BC business lists many VCR, cassette & turntable belts on their site.  Maybe this can be a help.

David_S, Thanks for trying to assist me in my quest. It looks like between several different sources I should be able to cobble together all of the belts I need.
