    I have ordered my chips and sockets for the 7 blinks fix I have seen there are 2 solder joints not soldered on the board on both chips some say to clip the legs off the socket when you install is this the correct procedure or should I just leave them unsoldered thanks

    I would just leave them unsoldered.

    I agree with Skytrooper. Just leave them.  That's what I did.

    Awesome the TV is back in operation now installed the sockets for the future although hopefully not I am still in need of the newest firmware and a remote battery cover any information would be much appreciated
