In case anyone's interested there's a listing on eBay with two of each for sale: K90ED, K70ED, K30ED, K10ED. Item # 260866516679. No statement of condition though._mykl

_mykl- Please don't scare us like that! When I read the title of this thread I thought for a moment that you might be selling off some of your now legendary collection of Sony SSK speakers and then I felt the ground shake as though to signifying that a paradigm had shifted and I was much relieved to find out that you found the SSK speakers in an eBay auction.

Nope not mine. But I am down to eight from my original ten as I sold off a pair awhile back. If I make my planned upgrade to my mains I'm not sure what I'll do then though. Space restrictions in the house and no point in storing them in an un-climate controlled garage. Vegas' weather would just ruin them._mykl

_mykl- I'm just glad to know that your fantastic collection of Sony SSK speakers is still in tact even if you 'only' have 8 left.

There's also a mint TA-E1 on eBay it's in the UK. The seller wants $9k GBP almost $14K USD. That's considerably more than it sold for new. Item #120788765338. I'll be interested to see what happens with it._mykl

_mykl- I found it interesting that the reserve price on these SS K90EDs is about what you paid for most of the SS K90EDs that you bought years ago which qualifies these Sony speakers as a very good long term investment.

I paid $99.99 NIB each for most of mine but I did get a couple for even less. That starting price is for the pair. I'm not sure what the reserve is. But IIRC every used pair I've seen for sale over the past few years, which isn't many, have sold for more than I paid. For those of us that got them new at closeout it has indeed been a good investment. I still haven't seen a $100 NIB speaker that can remotely come close to the SS-K90ED._mykl

With a starting bid of $100 who knows how high the bidding could go on these SS K90ED speakers. eBay has nothing listed under completed items which may serve to stimulate demand for these fine sounding Sony speakers.

There's only been one bid on those K90s for $100. reserve not met with less than a day left. There's another pair on there now as well. Item #220916089317. I can't remember seeing two pairs for sale at the same time. He wants $399 for them which is twice what I paid for mine NIB._mykl

My guess is that it's gonna be a dogfight in the last few seconds.
