I purchased a Sony BPX-BD58 Blu Ray DVD player, and it works fine, plays 3D dvd's and connects to the internet, however, I am trying to connect it to my computer and it will not pick up my computer. I have set up Windows MEdia Player version 11 to share with the device, but I cannot get the device into the computer.  Help

    Hello polecat69,

    Greetings and welcome.

Couldn't find much information on your BPX-BD58 Blu Ray DVD player. Are you trying to connect to your computer using a cable or with WiFi?
I would assume WiFi. If so, do you need to enter a WEP or WPA code to access your router?

    Joe

Are you sure that you have the correct model number, because if you do, its not a US model.  Do the Operating Instructions say that the unit is DLNA compatible?  If not, that's the problem.
