Has anyone else noticed that nearly all of the Sony parts inventory at Partstore.com has disappeared? Now the only things that come up are manuals.

I did. A month or so ago I did a search for parts there for a sony ES item and it turned up virtually nothing for the unit. A very recent google search on them turned up some "interesting" info. It seems you may not want to order from them anyway. Looks like they may have gone down a similiar path to AV123._mykl

Not too suprising. A quick search turned up countless bad reviews for Partstore.Com like THIS site.

Partstore IMHO was mostly a scam but they did have some parts. For example I never got an order of DTC-2000ES replacement stands. Even tough they were coming in tomorrow for two weeks. Also an order for a verified in stock replacement Everex PSU was cancelled because they were suddenly out of stock. But a specialized Sony video cable for my Sony GDM-C520K monitor arrived just fine (although at an outrageous price!)
