Hi everyone, I have the 6 and 7 blinking problem with my sony kv-40xbr800 , so i changed two MCZ3001D, and put MCZ3001DB. when i tried to turn it on... it now gives 4 blinks error. any idea?
Did you disconnect any connectors as part of the repair? If so, double check that you reconnected all of them and disconnect and reconnect every one to assure solid electrical connections.
Then take a close look at all of the new solder joints. Re-flow any questionable joints. Look for stray solder and damaged PCB trace material. Did you use sockets? If so, make sure the ICs are completely seated.
