    Interesting review.

This unit does not have mulit-channel analogue outputs and I so far do not have HDMI inputs in any of my components.  This prevented me from seriously looking at the SCD-XA5400ES.  I'm sure that HDMI inputs will be higher on my priority list sometime in the future.

This statement from the review is very interesting:
"The processor that I tested it with did not support DSD over HDMI so ithad to convert the SACD to PCM first. The Sony sent this as 24/176.4PCM which is very nice as many players, including the Oppo BDP-83, onlysend it as 24/88.2 when they need to send it as PCM."

That high rate output is a nice plus.

Where can I get one? Sony says they're out of 'em.
