I bought a Sony KDL52W3000 52" LCD TV in April of 2008. I've been very happy with it. I just moved though and the movers broke it. It looks fine on the outside but the picture is funky and I understand it has a bad LCD panel. I'm told the cost to fix the LCD panel would be more expensive than a replacement today. I think the cost of the TV was $2300 when new. I need to file a claim with my movers to get it replaced with a comparable model. I don't want to cheat the movers nor do I want to get a TV that isn't as good as the one I own so I'm trying to figure out what a comparable Sony 52" LCD would be today. Any ideas? I know the KDL52W3000 wasn't top of the line but I'm not sure if it was midrange or lowend or what exactly. Thanks in advance for any advice.
