    I have lost sound on a VGN-T17C/S when installing a new program.

    I have tried to reinstall ac97 drivers which have been accepted ok by the computer but still no sound.

    Please find the Everest report below

    have you tried a system restore back to the time before you lost audio? click on start|help and support to access system restore.
