Posting pictures here at Agoraquest is easily done from either the "Quick Reply" or the "Advanced Reply" dialog boxes (Advanced Reply would be the same dialog box when starting a New Thread).
First, there are the following restrictions for posting pictures:
File extension must be .gif .jpg .jpeg .png Maximum file size is 20000000 bytes No spaces in the filename Filename cannot contain illegal characters (/,*,,etc)
From the "Quick Reply" box, click on the "Insert Image" icon at the top header of the box. This icon is the second one from the right. This will open a pop up box that will let you choose from existing pictures already here or to upload the picture from your computer. To upload from your computer select the "Upload Image" button located in the center of the box. Another box will open, select "Browse" and navigate to where you have the picture stored on your computer. Click to highlight the pictures file name and select "Open" at the bottom of the box. This will load the picture. Next click "Upload". This will put your picture file name in the pulldown list when you click on the "Insert Image" icon in the top header. Now, back in the "Quick Reply" box put your curser where you want your picture to be inserted. Select "Insert Image" icon from the top header. Select your picures file name from the pulldown list and click on "OK". The picture will now be in your post. To insert a picture when starting a new thread or from the "Advanced Reply" box select the "Upload Your Own Photo" icon from the top header. It is the 4th icon from the left on the bottom row (Up Arrow). This will open a box, "Upload Your Image Files". Click on the "Browse" button and follow the same directions as above to post your picture.
Another way to post a picture from another website (that permits it) is to right click on the websites picture and select "Copy". Open the dialog box here at Agoraquest and move your cursor to where you want the picture to show. Right click again and this time select "Paste". This will insert that websites picture in your post.
If using a picture from another website that is not your own you should give credit where it is due.
