have a kv36fs10 that turns on with video and audio. the picture is shaded red for all whites. The standby timer is flashing 5 times. put a color bar on it and the white is pink. I have tried adjusting the RGB in service mode and still can't correct the problem. I have found another D board and installed it with the same problem. Is this a bad CRT ? Is there any way to test the CRT ? When checking the RGB video to CRT (on crt board C) , the Green video input seems high. On the schematic it show the waveform for all three colors and green is suppose to be a little lower than the blue and red. Thanks, John

Its unlikely that the problem is the CRT. Its more likely that the problem is with IC355 or the associated circuitry on the A board or IC1701 or the associated circuitry on the C board. The C board is located on the neck of the CRT. You really need an oscilloscope to determine the location of the problem by comparing R, G and B waveforms throughout the circuitry. Otherwise, you may replace an IC that isn't the problem. Often, such problems are the result of a bad capacitor instead of an IC.
