My KV-24FS100 won't turn on (no audio or display, but no previous problems)...

I unplugged it, plugged it back in and pressed power. I heard an audible click (the usual power button sound), and the LED flashed 9 times, followed by another click and four flashes. The pattern of four flashes has continued indefinitely. Any ideas?

    Hello M-M-M.

Posting in the FAQ section of the forum is limited to Administrators and Moderators. I am moving your thread to the Television Troubleshooting section of the forum where it will have a better chance of being addressed by one of our TV techs.

    Hi MMM,

I would run the self diagnostic test which is in the Frequently asked questions thread. I checked and 4 blinks for KV-24FS100 is
    I-Prot

    Probabl Cause Location
+13V is not Supplied (A Board)
    IC545 is faulty (A Board)

    Detected Symptoms
    - Has entered standby state after horizontal raster
    - Vertical deflectio pulse is stopped
    - Power line is shorted or power supply is stopped

The "A" Board needs to be replaced. If you need the service manual, please upgrade to premium member and I can send you.
