Does anyone know where I can get the discreet IR codes to directly switch to the different inputs? The remote only allows you to cycle through them, and Sony will not share the codes with me.
For the moment I just need to be able to directly access one S-video and one component input. I am currently using a Pronto remote to switch components (pre/pro, turn on/off the input device, and change TV inputs) with just one button push.
My old TV is a Sony KP-46XBR35 (1996ish) which I found the codes for, so I am willing to bet they are out there for the GWII as well. Sony's tech support told me they don't support it because directly accessing the inputs could "damage" the TV...
Here are discreet codes for sony TVs. They should work for most if not all sets. Just cut and paste the hex codes into your pronto.

Does anyone able to use the generic discrete codes posted in remotecentral.com? I'm getting longer hex codes for the GWII. FOr example, here's the power ON/OFF button I'm currently getting:
The discrete codes for the KF-60xbr800 will work also. If you can't find them, email me at clicking here) " target="_new"> (Email Address will not display unless member has 100 posts or is a Premium Member,
