Extended Warranties On Electronics, Are They Worth It? |

From time to time, someone will pose a question about the virtues of extended warranties. Personally, I don't believe in them, particularly as they apply to electronics equipment. My theory is if a piece of electronics is going to fail, it will fail within the manufactures warranty period (early life failure). The major retailers know this as well, hence the pressures they apply to consumers to purchase extended. Click here for Digital Trends opinion of this matter.
