Dear Everyone
I hope someone can help... I have been given a LBT-D905CD setup with tuner, cassette, CD, record deck, amplifier and surround controller.
For once I read the manual (!) and set it up in a stack exactly following the instructions. Everything worked except the CD. An hour or so of pushing buttons on the components and the remote control eventually got it working, though I really could not say which buttons were the ones that worked!
Anyway, I then moved the components into the stand under the TV and replugged the leads... to find that ONLY the CD then worked. Pushing buttons, checking leads, re-plugging them, made no difference. As they were placed in two stacks next to each other I had to re-route the order of the remote control and mains connecting leads, but that was the only difference.
So I then took the units out from under the TV and set them up in a stack following the instructions again... and still only the CD works. Also, the CD can be heard at listening volume even if the tuner or tape are selected. I can just faintly hear the other sources if I turn the CD off but that's at maximum volume! If I press play on the tape then the controls move to the correct places.
Is the unit faulty do you think? Have I missed something in the set up?
Any clues/suggestions are welcome!
Thanks Jim
