    I have a problem !
    My sony was going very slow so i wanted to restore it
    While recovering at 19 % it got stuck and than i got the ERROR 305:65
    and than it stopped and i can't restore it.
    And recovering from computer it gives an error to.

    Can somebody help me please?
    It's a VAIO VGN-FZ31M

    I did Google for your error code but all I found was your posts on this and other forums where you have posted the same question.

    My best guess is that you have damaged the restore partion when it got stuck at 19% and you had to reboot.

    Try this, boot up and start tapping F10. This should tell the BIOS to boot from the recorery partition. If that doesn't work your recovery partition is most likely damaged and you will have to use the DVD backups that you should have created when you first got the notebook.

    If you did not make the back up DVD's your only other opton would be to borrow them from a friend who has the same computer or buy the recovery disks from Sony.
