    hi guys
ive a problem with my camcorder Sony DCR-HC37E. My parents bought it in Germany, and I can't find any driver for Vista 64 Bit. I want to transfer videos from a Mini DV to my hdd via USB. I got he USB cord. I know I should do it via i.Link, but its too expensive in my opinion ($32).
Another problem is that when I play a video, there are gray horizontal lines in the display and eyepiece. ive tried 2 tapes, and after a while they disappear, but then sometimes I got some kind of pixels or something randomly on the display. its hard to explain..I didn't have any issues yesterday evening..
I hope you guys can help me

    Kind Regards

Welcome to the forum.  Per Sony Europe Customer support, Vista does not support your model camera using the USB port.  However, there is an indication that i.Link is supported.

The intermittent horizontal gray lines and pixels could be caused by dirty record heads.

is the problem in the camera or the tape? ive tried two tapes, so it probably is in the camera isnt it?

I'm looking at the camera being the problem.  You can try a mini DV head cleaning tape.  Click here for more information.
