I have a Sony FD Trinitron Wega, model KD-32FS170.  I have no sound.  Picture is fine.  It worked fine until I moved it to another room.  Hooked everything back up, and no sound!  I've tried everything to fix it.  HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to Agoraquest!  I assume that you are using the internal speakers, right?  Have you checked the settings to ensure that the speakers are still set to ON?  Its hard to believe that simply moving the set caused a loss of sound, unless perhaps the set was dropped or jarred, which would suggest a loose connection.

Yes, I am using internal speakers.  I can find no way to turn them on or off.  There is no setting for this.  The set wasn't dropped in the move.  And, I can't find any loose connections.  I don't have a schematic and I'm not real sure exactly where to look, but I have looked all over the circuit board for anything obvious.  And I don't see anything.  I was hoping I could fix it myself (I always think that) but I may have to break down and take it to a repair shop.

I am in the service menu on this tv.(sony kd-32fs170)  Can anyone tell me what initials are for the volume?  There is no LVOL or RVOL.  Or does this model even have volume settings in the service menu?
