    Does anyone know where I can find some documentation to help me strip this beast down

    Greetings and welcome.

    I don't know why you need to open up your PCV-W1/G but there sure isn't much information on how to service this computer.

    Apparently, the hardware inside is not meant to be upgraded and the parts are proprietary to this model.

    I did find THIS link that shows how to remove the top cover to gain access to the RAM module. I hope that it helps.

    Thanks for that Joe - the problem is that I have no signal at all on the monitor - I was hoping to strip it down to check g/card and perhaps link  up another monitor to it!!
    Any ideas anyone?

    i have one in bits at the moment and its a whole lot different to anything ive seem before
