My 34xbr960 has been working very well but I just added an HD-A3 HD DVD player that refuses to work with the HDMI interface. It appears to be HDCP related. I also recently added a Dish 622 receiver that works fine via HDMI but reports that the 34xbr960 HDMI interface is not HDCP compliant. Dish will be turning on the HDCP flag for some channels this coming year so this is a big problem. Sony claims the 34xbr960 is compliant and I have read other forum reports of users saying theirs works with the HD-A3 via HDMI. Is anyone aware of changes that might have been made during the production cycle for the 34xbr960? Sony tells me no updates are available.
