I searched and got close but no exact answer and its kind of important so if its a question already asked i'm sory, please direct me to the right place.
I'm programming a universal remote for a customer on a KDL46XBR4 and the inputs are screwing me up I cant seen to remove the tuner(antenna) input. I'm using a Onkyo receiver with HDMI switching for audio/video controls and i've also ran a componant cable to allow TV/cable box only controls (no receiver(for the wife)) but when I program my macro's the inputs dont change properly because of the extras unused tuner input. I contacted Sony and the girl in tech support who barely spoke english (whats up with that) said it cant be done. Anybody here have any idea's that she didn't know about (it probably wouldn't take much). I'm hoping for a mircle here so thank you in advance for any usefull information.

Normally, there is an option to lock the TV on a specified video input, normally Video 1. Then, as you sequence through the inputs VIDEO 1 will appear instead of the tuner. However, that doesn't appear to be an option for the KDL46XBR4. There is a more elegant soloution. The RM-AV3100 universal remote and probably all newer models include the codes needed for direct access to a video input. If you have a separate learning remote you can "learn" the code from the RM-AV3100.
