Upon Summary calibration I noticed that the results were different than with the a2000/2020. proper settings via Monster ISf/ THX optimode Mode: Custom Iris: Min Picture: 84 Brightness: 50 (THX drop shadow is just obscured.) Color: 50 (Three chicks in the Monster video are pale normal and extremely red.) sharpness 0 (sharpness is worthless on sxrd) tint o advanced settings, leave off and keep color space at standard. Video mode all motion enhancements at off. Cinemotion auto2 deinterlaces film based video and removes redundant frames and feilds to be 24 as opposed to 3/2 60. So this truely is inversed telecine? Deinterlacing 1080i film based content, I dont have HQV but the intro to star trek 8 is the most severly telicined DVD i know of, the intro in the village had no miore or jaggies or combing artifacts, As I said it removed redundant frames taking the dvd back to 24fps at 120hz!!! So now I'll have my dvpns9100 send out 1080i as I know it is handeld properly. 1080p24 I checked this with the credits in "Sahara", yes it works judders still but the right cinematic "shutterey" way. Overscan is insignifigant, 1:66.1 widescreen movies show visible pillarboxing (with 1080 line sources only). Black level, Celluloid black.. Red Push is less severe as well and the overall color dynamics are very accurate. I got this TV on saturday for 2200 bucks. Get it, or get the 70inch XBr5. the 3000 are the best sxrd, or TV's since the Trinatron.

Correction, color is at 45, and all white balance settings are at zero.
Also using low Iris.
Red push is subdued by upping greens and blues.

upon having the set for a week I have noticed that the TV has a heavy green/blue push. This is normal for the model. White balance settings... -3 -4 -3 -3 -4 -1
