I just got a KDL 52xbr4. I use Time Warner cable. The twin view screens picks up the same channel. I split the signal before it goes into the box and it will show 2 different channels but one side is limited to lower non digital channels . How can I get both sides to show all the availble channels. Thanks for any help!

With most Sony's, the right window is limited to 480i from analog RF, composite, or S-Video. It usually will not work with component or digital RF at any resolution.

Yes that's true...Due to the fact that the TV tuners are not capable of descrambling the digital channels...That's why the cable co. provides the Set Top Box (and is the same as if you were to run directly to the TV without it)
You would either need another cable co. supplied STB connected for the second tuner...or if the cable supplied STB provided has PIP...You could use it's feature to get, and switch between digital channels (Then just not use the Sony's feature)

The KDL52XBR4 includes a built-in QAM tuner, meaning that if you use a splitter with one output going the the cable box and the other going to the cable input on the TV, you can receive unscrambled SD and HD channels with the TV and the same and all other channels with the cable box. I would expect the Twin View feature to work in this case, but I may be wrong.
