Hello,
I hope someone here can help me.
I have an adaptor for my memorystick to be used in my laptop. Works fine.
Some time ago I got an old laptop without a cd-player, and I thought maybe I could use my memorystick to transfer large files in stead of connecting a zipdrive or so.
But the adaptor is not recognized at all. I have tried just about everything, upperslot, lowerslot, with modemcard, without modemcard, no way.
I have windows 95 first edition installed on the laptop (HP Omnibook 800), could that be the problem? On my other laptop I have Win98SE.
Or anyone have another idea?
Thanks for trying,

Does the memory stick adapter have a gold metal plate where it plugs in and are there little bumps near the edge?
