    Hi, ive just purchased a sony bravia KDL3252530 LCD HDTV and was woundering if there was anything i could play about with to get the best out of it. Any ideas on settings or cables i should use would be a great help.

    Welcome to Agoraquest!  I would definitely use an HDMI cable to eliminate unnecessary digital to analog and analog to digital conversions.  I don't know where you live, but if you live in the US, subscribe to digital cable HD service and get either the Scientific-Atlanta 8300HD or Motorola DCT-3616 didital video recorder as these boxes include an HDMI output.

    You might also look into one of the calibration DVDs, such as AVIA or Digital Video Essentials.
