Have been given the above TV and need to adjust the screen geometry, as it will is missing about an inch on all sides. Also will not go into letterbox mode when Sky digibox connected and cannot access the normal menu when pressing the button on the RM 833 remote.
Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Hello,
in my opinion this is an AE1x-chassis and these models doesn't have any menu.
Adjusting is done by means of potentiometers which are on the J-board (the board where the SCART's are on).
Other geometrics are adjusted by mechanical corrections of the deflection yoke.

Thanks Bora, I won't venture into that as taking the back off is something I don't like doing, it isn't a real problem and being a freebee, I think that I can live with it.
