Welcome to Agoraquest! It sounds like a problem with the tuner. Member Borabora should be better able to assist you when he reads this thread. You may have to be patient for his response, though, because he is very busy.

Hello,
indeed I'm very, very busy at the moment due to the large amount of changes in our workshop.
I suppose you use this TV on Mallorca to receive 'oldschool' terrestical broadcasts which are in the same system as the Spanish ones, which are B/G.
In the user-menu of your set, you can select 'Language' and 'Country'. The first one is a setting for the language of the on-screen menu. The second sets the broadcast systems you can select in the 'Manual Programme Preset' diaglog.
If you go to 'Manual Programme Preset', is there a column 'System' ? To have both picture and sound, you have to select 'B/G' there. If you select 'I' for example, you would have a good picture, but no sound. When you select 'D/K' or 'L', both picture and sound would be distorted.
Regards,
Bora.

Hello
Thanks for taking the time to reply to my message. Im currently using my tv to watch UK satellite. ive tried the instructions that you gave me in your previous email, changing the broardcast system to B/G and nothing has happened. I only get the 'system' column in the 'manual programme preset' on certain countries. the only one i have found so far is Poland i believe.
Thankyou
Phil

Hello,
when you watch UK Satellite, you should use an external input of the TV for that, I suppose.
When you select Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, you must be able to select system B/G.
If B/G is selected in the 'System' column in 'Manual Programme Preset', the system must be right for Spanish broadcast.
Are you sure the last digit of typenumber of your set is 'E' and not 'U' ?
Regards,
Bora.
