HI, I have a Sony KVDA28M36 (pal version) I need some help with adjusting the HPOS so i can move the picture to the right. I found out how to get into the SM thanks to this website http://myweb.accessus.net/~090/sonypal.html
but where to go from actually getting into the SM and adjust the HPOS eludes me. That link above says "Up/Down (menu keys) you may select the module (controller chip) to modify." but it doesnt say how to select the module or even what the module is. I called Sony and they told me it would cost me 80$ for a service repairer to come and fix it becuase it is out of warranty.
A step by step list would be best as i dont want to stuff up my tv. Thx in advance andyross or jehill or toli :>

i found out how to fix it. i used the ntsc user guide from that link and it works on my tv :>
i+, 5, volume+, power getse into SM then 1 and 4 scroll through the menus and 2 and 5 scroll larger through menus and 3 and 6 adjust values :>
then mute, 0 saves the change and power off to exit SM
