Browsed this sight for a few times, and since I could'nt find the answers I needed, I decided to join up and ask.
I've been looking for help with my kv30hs420 around the 'net, and I'm hoping I can find it here.
First off. I've seen and studied some of the service menu tweaks found on AVSForum.com by KenTech, but I still can't resolve some issues I'm having with my geometry.
Ok, here goes.
I have used DVE to adjust the geometry on my set in SM, spent a while getting it to look as good as I could. Then when I turned on my Xbox 360, I noticed the screen had an hourglass look to it, and was off to the right some.
I popped in Oblivion, and the names of the people and towns were far into the bottom right hand side, some were cut off going out of sight like the image was stretched too much to the right.
When I tried GRAW, the visor was visible, tho twisted looking, on the left side, but not even visible a littile on the right. I dealt wih this for about 2-3 weeks.
All of the previous adjustments were done with:
HSIZ
HPOS
HCNT
VSIZ
VPOS
MPIN
PIN
But yesterday, I decided to tweak the image using GRAW as reference. I now have the visor on screen in 1080i/720p, still needs geometry adjusting, but, well, now SD and and 480p are pushed off more to the left, and have a round almost circle shape develping.
These recent adjustments I used some MID3 adjustments hoping they wouldn't affect the SD and 480p, but I was saddly wrong.
What I need to know is can anyone help me adjust 480i/480p/720p/1080i images and hopefully each input: Video 1-Video 7 (HDMI), independently from one another, or am I kinda screwed here?
