I purchassed kv-32hs420---the monster. slowly but surely i'm switching out my old sony dream systems speakers with polks. I've purchassed polk csi5 center--another monster. my question is: this speaker is pretty heavy. I'm a little concerned about all the weight being put on the kv-32hs420's tv stand. i'm sure it can handle it, but i thought i would check to see if anyone had any comments about the issue.

dsj,
What model is your TV stand, is it the original Sony stand for your model? I have a KV-32XBR48 upstairs with it's original stand. I used to have my Klipsch KSF-C5 (which is a good sized center) sitting right on top of the TV, no problems.

dsj,
I assume you mean the SU-32HX1, if so, it looks well braced and sturdy. And the Polk CSi5 weighs 29lbs, I think that you should be fine.
